I am seeking a way of connecting my HP desktop PC (Windows 7 Home Premium) to an Android device (Minix NEO U9-H) over a common WiFi network. My PC has pre-installed HP LinkUp and my question is whether it is designed to connect to an Android device too and how? Specifically I need to get access from my desktop to a HDD connected to the Android by a USB cable.
Can I use HP LinkUp with my HP TouchSmart 610 and my other computer that isn't HP? Or can it only be used between HP computers?

Yes, according to the official website of the developer, you can use HP LinkUp between your HP TouchSmart and other PC, even if it isn't an HP computer. Take into account that the HP LinkUp program only works on Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7. For more information as well as a tutorial about the program, visit the site mentioned above.
